Burlington - Northwest VT
This region covers the city of Burlington and surrounding towns in Chittenden and Franklin Counties. Includes Lakes Iroquois and Lake Carmi. (See separate section for Lake Champlain.)

East Central VT
Covers towns and villages in the hills of rural Orange County, including Chelsea, Corinth, and Tunbridge, plus Lake Fairlee and Lake Morey. Borders the Connecticut River. Some towns are near Montpelier or Hanover, N.H.

Lake Champlain & Islands
We have divided the rentals along this 110-mile long lake, the sixth largest in the nation, into those south of Burlington, and those in and north of Burlington. The "islands" region in the northern part of the lake is accessible by causeway.

Lake Dunmore - Middlebury
This region includes Lake Dunmore and Fern Lake, the town of Middlebury — home of the college of the same name — and acres of rolling farmland.

Montpelier - North Central VT
The smallest state capital in the nation, Montpelier offers fine dining, local bookstores, coffee shops, and the like. Tucked in the hills are numerous small towns and several small lakes in Woodbury and Calais.

NEK Lakes, Jay, Burke
Northeast Kingdom is the name for the northeastern three counties of Vermont. Includes many beautiful lakes and both Jay Peak and Burke ski resorts, all located in a rural region known as "Vermont — the way it used to be."

Smugglers' Notch
Home of Smugglers' Notch Resort, a well-known year-round family ski resort. The road over the Notch to nearby Stowe is open in all but the coldest months.

Stowe - Bolton
Covers the historic tourist-oriented village of Stowe and the Stowe ski resort, featuring the state's highest peak of Mt. Mansfield. This region also includes family-friendly Bolton Valley ski resort and the town of Waterbury.

Sugarbush - Mad River
Offers two ski areas — the sprawling two-mountain Sugarbush ski resort, and historic Mad River Glen — plus compact towns and conserved pastoral landscapes. Close to Montpelier and Interstate 89.

Ascutney Mountain
Featuring Ascutney Mountain ski resort in West Windsor, and nearby towns. Easily accessible from I-91, and not far from the larger towns of Woodstock & Windsor.

Bromley - Londonderry
Home to both Bromley and Magic Mountain ski resorts. In the heart of southern VT's ski country, this region is not far from Stratton to the south, Okemo to the north, and the large town of Manchester.

Chester - Grafton - SE VT
Covers most of southeastern Vermont, including many pleasant small towns and the more urban cultural centers of Brattleboro & Bellows Falls.

Killington - Pico
Vermont's largest ski area, with many restaurants and bars, near the small city of Rutland. Located close to the Long Trail for hiking.

Lake Bomoseen Area
Lake Bomoseen is the largest lake entirely within the state's borders. Region also includes Lake Hortonia and Beebe Pond. Easily accessible from the south.

An 883-acre lake located near the New York border, equidistant from Rutland and Manchester. Includes rural towns nearby.

Manchester - Bennington
Covers most of southwestern Vemont, including historic Manchester and its shopping outlets, plus the small city of Bennington and nearby towns.

Mt Snow - Wilmington
VT's southernmost ski resort is located here, plus Lake Raponda and Lake Whitingham. A famous summer music festival is held in the nearby town of Marlboro.
