Vail Brook Cottage: A Renovated Woodland Retreat

Description

Meander down a long tree lined driveway and across a stone bridge atop a babbling brook, and perched just as you would imagine it in a storybook you will find Vail Brook Cottage; a lovingly built, and thoughtfully renovated cottage in the woods.

Vail Brook Cottage thoughtfully uses every inch of it's 3 living levels. Upstairs you will find the primary bedroom suite, with an attached half bath. The main level boasts an amazing designer kitchen, quaint eating nook, and a spacious living room. Downstairs features additional sleeping space with two twin beds and an optional murphy queen bed.

The grounds of Vail Brook Cottage are magical. From the cool waters of the spring fed brook and its waterfalls to the birds of all kinds fluttering around the many acres of forest canopy. This one of a kind space is a retreat for nature lovers, artists, authors, and anyone that wants the 'real world' to melt away.

If adventure is more your style, the cottage sits on a network of hundreds of miles of Vermont gravel roads for cycling or running, and is only 3 miles from the Slate Valley Trails Fairgrounds trailhead, a network of 50+ miles of premiere mountain biking and hiking trails.

Just because the cottage is in the middle of the woods doesn’t mean it’s completely disconnected. Be spoiled with super-fast fiber optic internet to use when you’re feeling like doing a little browsing, streaming, or work (not recommended).

Remote enough to get the real Vermont experience yet close enough to conveniences and attractions to be the best of both worlds.
